Landjaeger/safety?
I am currently in the process of switching over to another hospital/doctor so I don’t have anyone to call at the moment. I am 29 1/2 weeks pregnant, and I just had a couple sticks of landjaeger from one of our local delis. It wasn’t until I was halfway through my second stick that I questioned if it was even safe to eat. I got online and saw a whole bunch of scary stuff about how meats like pepperoni, salami, landjaeger, etc. are risky because they could potentially cause toxoplasmosis, listeriosis, or salmonella. I ran to the bathroom and made myself throw up, at that point it had been about a half hour since I’d eaten it. TMI, but I definitely know it hadn’t even really started to break down yet and I know I got all of it out.
I’m freaking out about possibly harming my baby, I’ve never had toxoplasmosis before (which is what I’m mainly worried about) so I’m not immune to it, and I read that the further along you are the more likely it is to pass on to the baby.
Are there any doctors on here that can tell me if I majorly effed up?🥺
