I wanted another and my husband was DEAD SET on no more kids (we have 3). He even had a vasectomy scheduled. I found out I was pregnant on Valentine’s Day and it was exciting for a minute, but then I felt really worried about telling my husband. So I spent the morning really distant and quiet. When I finally told him, he surprised me by being super happy and excited. 
I guess your reaction is completely dependent on your situation. With my other 3 that we planned, we were both over the moon to find out.

Depends on how you feel about having a baby...I was terrified...and depressed.

For me it was a real mix of emotions - I was so excited but at the same time didn’t want to get my hopes up in case the pregnancy wasn’t successful. Fear of the unknown, elation of finally becoming pregnant and disbelief that it was real!! Wasn’t until I got my first scan and saw a heartbeat that I could properly let myself get excited and realised that this pregnancy was real!

When you trying it’s amazing I had stopped trying 😄 then found out on valentine day I was pregnant 🤰🏽 the line was super dark I’m like 5 weeks and some change at first I was shocked 😳 because I said well since it wasn’t happening before I was gonna wait 5 years then bam 💥 but me and husband are over joyed now !

For me when it’s positive I do not get excited, I call my Dr and set up blood draws till its high enough for ultrasound. Then after we know placement, relief if it’s in the womb and excitement. (I have a history of ectopic)

We tried for 18 months, and had one miscarriage... when I got the bfp for this pregnancy it was Christmas Day and I was in denial... I was numb to it honestly. I didnt want to become attached to being pregnant. We want through so much pain to get here, and the first REAL joy I felt was my 11 week ultrasound last week, and I saw our little babies moving around inside of me. I was amazed and felt all that suppressed joy in that moment.
