False positive ?

Has anyone gotten a false positive with the easy @ home pregnancy tests? I’m having a hard accepting the fact that I finally got a BFP on mine even though I want that more than anything. 😩

I got 2 false positives from the same box different urine of early detection First Response. I called my dr to set up a appt for a pregnancy test at the dr after I took them, she said that I didn’t need to come in, that @ home tests are just as accurate especially taking 2. I started bleeding a week or so later, thinking I’m having a MC I went in to the dr, they did a pregnancy test and I had 0 pregnancy hormones and it came back BFN. It was my period. I was devastated, even though I wasn’t pregnant and miscarrying. I still felt the loss because I THOUGHT I was pregnant. I haven’t gotten a positive since and that was 4 years ago. When I do get a positive don’t know if I can trust it until I go in, maybe if I take a ton of different brands tests. I feel like mine is a weird case and situation tho, I wouldn’t be to worried! If you are just take more than one brand pregnancy test if they all come out positive, you are!

I've never heard of those tested giving false positives but I would confirm with a different test to be sure. I hope this is truly it for you, congratulations!
