Will I get my period again?

Question

I’m almost 16 and I got my first period last week (I know SUPER LATE) I was so happy when I got it but I’m afraid that it won’t come next month. Because I know some people that got their first period then didn’t get another for months or even years later. Did this happen to you?

I got my firsts period and I had them regularly since. But after kids that’s when sometimes I have no periods or super late sometimes skip them sometimes then on track🤦‍♀️ 
But before all that since my very first period it was just like clock work but I hear what ur going thru is completely normal

I had my first period in 7th grade (12) and I didn’t have another one until my 8th grade summer (14) and they were regular after that. I think with you being older that it’ll probably be every month
