Today I tried a tampon for the very first time. I thought it would be a great idea since I’ve had it before and wanted to have more experience,welllll.......let’s just say i failed the woman test. When I put the tampon in, I put in the wrong hole idk it really hurt and I tried twice and then my vag felt sore and now I’m more terrified of tampons than I was before.

I don’t think you would’ve put it in your urethra, and I believe you would know if you shoved it up your ass. 🤷🏻‍♀️ it was probably in the correct “hole”, you may just not had it pushed in all the way. If you don’t push it up far enough, it will hurt or be uncomfortable. If you do it correctly, you shouldn’t feel it much, if at all.

I'm 22 and never once used a tampon, tried when I was younger but failed. I just use super absorbent pads lol

It might take awhile for you to get used to them, and unless you put it in your butt there is no way you put it in the wrong hole. Sometimes after you put it in it may be uncomfortable for a little bit but it gets better to where you don’t even notice it.
