Can ovulation prediction be wrong?

Maybe it’s just me trying to find a reason we’re just not getting a positive test 😩 can the ovulation predictor on here be wrong? And also how do you use ovulation tests? Surely you don’t have to buy loads to use every day of the month to find out? 🤔

My ovulation prediction on here was a full week off... We are using opks this month and I literally just got my positive. Opks are easy sorda lol you're supposed to take them twice a day and don't hold your pee for more than 4 hours or some shit... Basically have sex when the test line is as dark or darker than the test line (that's considered a positive test) I suggest the easy@home opks because it gives you an instruction manual 😂😂

Yes most certainly. This month I started using OPKs and discovered a positive on CD10 and CD11. My predicted was CD13! Glow updated the predictions as soon as I got my positive but if I didn’t start using OPK I would never have known and would have missed my surge. Good luck!

Yes, it can be wrong.  The app uses an algorithm and your body isn’t a computer so you can’t predict everything exactly.  Things fluctuate naturally. 
I would definitely recommend using OPKs to confirm ovulation.  The app reconfigures when you provide that information to give you a more accurate prediction in the future. I use OPKs and sometimes my O day changes by a few days.  
I purchased on Amazon the Pregmate brand with 100 LH strips and 50 pregnancy strips for only $25. I will probably never test for pregnancy that many times in my life, but I think I’m pretty much set.  If I test my LH early in my cycle and test multiple times when I get closer to ovulation the LH strips will last me
months!

Glow is just a prediction, definitely get some ovulation tests to track. I ovulate on day 14 generally which is a few days before Glow predicts. I would recommend testing from CD10

Yes. It can definitely be wrong. If you’re periods aren’t always on time, if your body doesn’t ovulate on a “normal” schedule (early or late not right in the middle) the best way to see when you ovulate is to take two everyday after the last day of your period. Or if you’d rather in the afternoon is usually better than morning but not for everyone. I was taking them in the afternoons with a 3.5 hour hold(as long as I could go) and getting very low readings. I started taking with FMU and got way better results so I recommend 2x per day for the first month until you see where you’re at. Also pair it with temperature tracking. Take your temp with a bbt thermometer every day right when you wake up (should be around the same time every morning give or take about 30 min.) your temp will drop and then raise quite a bit the day after you ovulate so doing tests and temp together can be helpful to pinpoint. 
As for buying tests you can buy bulk tests on amazon for pretty cheap. 
One person I saw recommended using the digital along with the strip tests to get a better idea if a certain brand doesn’t do exactly what it says so if the digital reads positive you know what a positive looks like on a specific brand of tests. I may try that next month myself.
