Just received my explanation of benefits from my insurance and it looks like the hospital is charging the insurance over $16,000!!! Also my obgyn is charging a separate charge of $3000!! There is also a charge for $500 labeled as emergency room/triage/nst testing. So the hospital pretty much charged an additional $500 just to check my progress in triage! It’s crazy how hospitals charge the insurance. What are your bills looking like? Also, I live in California and have a private ppo ins. I had a vaginal delivery with an epidural.
