How many moms out there wanted kids before deciding to have children?

I’m just curious to see how this turns out and if you have any interesting stories/how you got to your decision please tell in the comments!

In my teens I was absolutely adamant I didn’t want kids ever, I was on the pill & took it religiously, but one time I literally had all the symptoms of being pregnant, I done 10 thousand tests and all negative, so I went to see my doctor and he said it was my new medication making me feel that way, it settled down after a few months. And I kind of felt disappointed that I wasn’t pregnant. But I wasn’t in a stable relationship back then anyway. So I remained on my pill. I met my boyfriend 3yrs ago, we were just friends, never kissed or anything, he was dating my ex friend, anyway fast forward to December 2017, we started talking all the time, I’d fallen out with my friend, but had no intentions of being anything other than friends with him. One thing led to another & he asked me out & at first I said no cause of her, but I had feelings soooo bad for him! he kept asking every day & in the end I said yeah, we knew after a few weeks that we were perfect together the whole “when you know you know” thing. He had a 3yr old son & a 5yr old angel daughter & we are currently TTC, I’ve never wanted something so bad, I just want my own little family ❤️

By the time I got to college, I was absolutely certain I wanted children.👌🏾 However, I had a checklist of goals I wanted to accomplish before having children. When I met my husband, we both knew we wanted children! Just like me, he had goals. Our goals were:
- Complete our Master's Degrees📚
- Get Married 👰🏾🤵🏾💍
- Become Homeowners 🏡🏠
Thankfully, we accomplished everything we wanted to accomplish before we had our daughter. 🙌🏾 We are now parents to a beautiful, healthy, and smart 16-month old baby girl!

I wanted kids always in the future after I finished college, but fate decided differently and now at 18 finishing high school I have my wonderful daughter that’s 2 months currently.
