Hand washing?

Just wondering if anyone hand washes their diapers? Thinking it would take a lot to have a full load and I don't really want them sitting around stinking.

I always hand rinse them in warm water before putting them in the basket and that causes them to not stink.

Your first wash will be just diapers. Your main wash can be bulked with anything smaller than a receiving blanket. I bulk with baby clothes, mom & dad’s underwear and socks, wash cloths, hand towels.

We hand wash/line dry ours as we dont have a washer/dryer.
Flats are the best for handwashing/line drying as they wash easily and dry quickest.
We use pockets too and prefolds.  But the inserts and prefolds take forever to dry.

I wash mine with all my kitchen towels and wash cloths.  I don’t have any problem getting a full load.
