"Updated" Baby seems lethargic
My 10 month old woke up suddenly Thursday night and started vomiting and it didn't stop for 7 hours, during those 7 hours we tried to give her fluids (pedialyte) and it failed, it would just keep coming back up so we decided to take her to the children's hospital in our town of fear of dehydration. After a few hours there, they gave her a anti-nausea pill and then she was able to have something to drink. We were there until 6am Friday. The rest of the day went great, she didn't vomit again, she was drinking the pedialyte and ended up being able to go back to the formula. She was my happy baby again, playing and smiling. She slept through the night and it all seemed to be going back to normal, until the morning. She isnt really moving around, she's drinking he formula but she is just laying there and falling in and out of sleep, grumbling and hard to really keep awake. Her breathing is a little off too. Is this normal? Is this because she so exhausted from the drama of Thursday? I'm a little worried.
Edit: She started throwing up again. So that explains it.
We brought her back to children's hospital. They gave her some IV fluids and put in catheter to get a urine sample to test for a UTI.
