Stashing baby stuff?

Is it weird that I'm crocheting baby things (blankets, hats, booties, bloomers etc) and putting them away for the future? I'm 22 and babies are not in the foreseeable future 😔

Nope. I have been since i was 10( i am 22). I have a "hope chest" full of stuff. Wedding and marriage and baby things. It helped alot when i got married and i am sure i will find it helpful when i start with kids someday. The idea of "hope chest" used to be a very popular thing.... now we live in a day an age of buying everything when we need it. not taking the time to make and prepare for the future.
