Nipple stimulation?

So I’m 38 weeks today and been reading up about nipple stimulation. 
I’ve just done it for like 15-20 minutes and everyone else seems to have contractions after it but I feel nothing 😂😂😂

My midwife told me to start pumping for 20 minutes a day, I'll have contractions for about 30 minutes to an hour and then they stop

I did nipple stimulation manually at 39 weeks with my first. Played with one for 5 mins, played with other for 5 mins, rested for 5 mins. I repeated that for an hour. Contractions started 30-35 mins in and persisted through the night and next day. I was admitted 24 hours from the time of doing the nipple stimulation.

Yep. Nothing. I’ve done squats, lunges, spicy foods, red raspberry leaf tea at 4cups a day the last 2weeks, nipple stimulation, rolling my hips and bouncing on the bouncy ball, butterfly motions with my legs, and massive amounts of fresh pineapple. Nothing. Just lots of pressure and only 1cm dilation. 
My doctor says there isn’t enough pineapple in the world to make one go into labor. The ONLY proven way to go into labor is through sex. What made the baby go in, is also what makes the baby come out. Lots of intercourse.

We had a nurse tell us to avoid it. She said it can cause issues because people do it for too long and the contractions become too strong for too long (at once...so like a 5 min contraction) which can be dangerous to baby by cutting off oxygen for too long. 🤷🏼‍♀️.
