Car seat location??

Those of you with just one kiddo, where will you be putting car seat in the back?

As long as the seat is installed correctly all sides are safe. With just one I usually put her on driver side.

if only baby/ child,  the middle is deemed the safest. however, it's pretty difficult to have two carseats next to each other. so you'd have to put the baby on a side door.

The middle is the most inconvenient place to some people, but it’s also the safest if it can be installed correctly there. That’s where we’ve had our son. 
Now that we are expecting our second we had to move him to one of the side seats in order to fit two rear-facing car sets in the back seat. I would love it if my back seat were wide enough for us to have our newborn in the middle but unfortunately we can’t.

We just moved our 21mo to the drivers side in order to put infant base in the safest spot, the passenger side. This is according to our vehicles manual. Recommend checking that as it’ll always tell you!

I never had any issues with having the seat in the middle. My daughter was in the middle with her infant seat and rear facing convertible. She's 2.5 now and I just switched her to the side so that I can have baby on the other side, but it was nice for me to be able to just sit next to her to tighten and adjust her straps.

My car is teeny tiny, car seat only fits if passenger seat is all the way forward and all the way upright! I'm not able to have the drivers seat like that, so baby will have to go behind the passenger seat!
