I’m 40 + 3. No signs of her coming out. I haven’t lost my mucous plug, I’ve been dilated at one centimeter for three weeks now, haven’t had any discharge, no contractions, zip. I have an induction appointment Tuesday morning at 730 AM.

I live in central MN, and there’s suppose to be a blizzard. We’re only getting an inch or two of snow. Wind gusts up to 45 MPH.

My dad, mom, and sister have been blowing up my phone to come stay at my parents house that is 10 minutes from the hospital. We live 50 minutes from the hospital. My mom later texted me saying she’d probably stay put if it were up to her too.

My boyfriend would rather stay put and believes we can get there if need be. I would rather stay put too, I don’t feel like she’s coming out until we get induced. There is a hospital 25-30 minutes away if we can’t get all the way there. If she doesn’t come, we would have to drive back home tomorrow night so he can get back to work for Monday. It seems like it’d be a lot of driving around for a “what if.” Also I can’t sleep in the spare room at my parents house. I don’t know what it is, but I just toss and turn all night. I can at least manage to get some sleep at my house.

I got so frustrated I cried on the phone with my boyfriend for 20 minutes while he was at work today about it all. I’m so emotional being this pregnant. I want her out, but she’s stubborn like her momma.
