The idea that there's power in putting things out in the universe?

Your tongue is very powerful. The words you speak becomes the way you think and the way you act. I’m just really starting to understand the power in words.

To an extent. I always find if I run myself down with negative thoughts then negative things will happen to me. For example, I worked myself up over my job and uni stress which put me in a bad mood, and the next day I received a fine that I couldn’t afford to pay. On the opposite end of the scale, when I choose to act positively and be kind to others even when I feel miserable, or I put lots of effort into work that I’m struggling with, I usually get a positive outcome.
That being said I don’t think that helping old ladies cross the road for a hobby is going to mean I win the lottery or I’m blessed with only the best relationships.

Of course. I can get what I want in life, by but I’m too lazy and too scared to do it.

Nope. Could be self-fulfilling prophecy though, where you believe things to be true so you subconsciously act in ways to make them happen ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
