Crib questions?

Question

Have you transitioned your baby to their crib yet? If so, how old is your baby? Have any of you tried a mesh bumper for their crib? When I get her to nap in her crib, I find her with her legs stuck in the crib slats sometimes and her crying. Thinking of buying one, since it seems like the safer option.

My son naps great in his crib but doesn’t do too well at night. I’m going to start putting him there more often though, and I will have the mesh.

We’ve had my boy sleeping in his cot since we came home, now we’ve started napping him in there but he doesn’t fall asleep in there so I’m cuddling him to sleep then placing him there- I just have to make the room darker so he will nap during the day but I’m too lazy at the moment 😂

I’m planning to transition our baby to her own room in her crib at 6 months, that’s what her doctor recommended.

We had our baby sleeping in her crib by 2.5 months. She refuses to nap in it during the day still (nearly 5 months) but sleeps great in it

My little guy was moved to a crib in his own room at 2 weeks old. We do use mesh bumpers for the same reason.

My daughter is still in our room. She'll be 5 months next week. Only reason she's in our room is we don't have a second camera for our monitor yet. For our son he was in his own room by 3-4 months. We did use mesh bumpers with him. Like you said he was constantly getting stuck. We made sure they were as tight as possible so he couldn't get in between it and the crib.  We plan on using it for our daughter once she's in her crib.

We transitioned him to his own room and crib at 4 months of age. He will be 5 months March 11
