Hi everyone,

I was just wondering has anyone been induced around 38-39 weeks? I’m 37 weeks and at the point where I can barely walk due to my pelvic pain being so bad so my OB has suggested moving my induction date a week or two forward...

I’m not completely clued up on all things ‘induction’ so I had a few questions...

- If your body isn’t ready/dilated at all does it make induction longer and more painful?

- Can induction fail and your body not go into labour at all?

I’m really worried about an emergency c-section.
