Do you plan on using an oxygen or heart rate monitor for your baby? Ex..the owlet sock
After losing our 12 week old daughter to SIDS this past fall I am so very nervous about how I will handle the 1st year of our rainbow's life (due the same day that our angel was due and also a girl) but especially the 1st 6 months. Seeing a sleeping baby used to be a wonderful feeling but now it's a huge trigger that scares the crap out of me. So, I'm planning on investing in a monitor such as the owlet to give me a little piece of mind even though it is way more money than I would like to spend. I worry that without something telling me she is breathing I will be waking her up to check every 10 minutes which would be no good for either of us. Does anyone else have this level of paranoia? Why would you or why will you not pay for such a device?
