When will I be able to have sex again?

I had a Laparoscopic Appendectomy (getting your appendix removed) and they also had to clean up blood and fluids from a ruptured ovarian cyst on the 15th. I am healing great. I was told only to rest and walk a little for 4 weeks. The past 3 days I have been really horny. My husband and I are newly weds and have been married for 37 days. He says he wants to have sex but told me we wont because I cant do anything but rest and walk. We were going to start ttc、 but after all this I want to wait a fee years. Has anyone had this done and when after the surgery were you able to have sex again?
