Rowing 2k
So I’m on my city’s juniors rowing team and I just started in November. I think my most recent 2k time on the erg is about a 9:46 with an average 2:26 split. I really want to work on improving my time so I can better myself and team! We have a school project going on where we have to do something difficult and I want to work on lowering this time. My goal is 9 minutes by May and maybe ?? 8 minutes by fall? I’m trying to figure out some good ways to achieve these goals! I plan on going to the gym Monday’s and Wednesday’s along with rowing practice Tuesday Thursday and Saturday. I’ll try to do a 2k every other Monday to monitor progress but I was wondering what kind of weights I should work on so I can get off the erg a bit??? Thanks y’all!
