What do you consider the end of your period?

I never know when my period ends like is it when there is nothing left? Or is it when there still some brown discharge? When I wipe it’s brown should I put on eve my period ended or should I wait until I wipe and there nothing??

I consider it the end when I no longer have to wear a pad or panty liner. Sometimes I can wipe and still get old blood, but if it wasn’t enough to get on my underwear, I’ll still consider it being over.

When it becomes just brown spotting I mark that as spotting. I only mark my period days as the days where it’s a flow same goes for the beginning of my cycle. My actual period is only like 4 days but I spot like a day before & a day afterwards.

I’m sure everyone does it different but when my period starts to stop and is very light or barely anything there I consider that the end on my last day, and anything after I log mine as spotting
