I am so frustrated with my LO’s spit up situation. He spits up after he eats and then randomly up to an hour after he eats and sometimes he’ll spit up and it’ll wake him up. I hold him upright for 30 minutes after he eats, I nurse him at a 45 degree angle, i burp him between sides, and I have even cut out dairy for my diet just in case. I am SO frustrated that none of this has helped. Changing him 3-5 times a day has gotten exhausting. Him waking himself up by spitting up after an hour of night sleep is exhausting. Being drenched in spit up and having to change my clothes despite using a swaddle blanket as a burp cloth is exhausting. The doctor says since he’s a “happy spitter” it’s not reflux. Any advice?
