Why lie

So I have this "friend" who all of a sudden was pregnant with twins. She told me myself and her boyfriend were the only ones who knew when I was talking to him asking how everything with her was going he had no clue what I meant. He apparently made her go for an ultrasound when there was legit no way she had time to do so... When she "did" I asked to see the babies and she said they mail the pictures home and she wasn't allowed to have her phone out to take photos of the screen 🙄 odd since I know the two places in town that do them and they print them right there and allow you to take photos or videos. Now all of a sudden she miscarriages... I know it's a lie and I'm honestly so pissed off it's unreal... Why would you lie about that.

It's a way longer story but I don't mean to sound bitchy but goodness 🙄 I couldn't imagine lying about that ...
