Would a fertility test be worth it?

So my SO & I have been TTC since December. We both have 1 child each from previous relationships but I'm wondering if it would be worth it to get a sperm count/fertility test for him? His daughter is 3 & my son is almost 5. He hasn't had anything happen that would indicate he can't have more kids (my OB said I'm all healthy) but he does smoke weed. Other than that we're both perfectly healthy so test or just let nature do it's thing?

December 2018? If so, then it’s not worth it. I wouldn’t begin to worry about something being wrong until after a year of trying.

It’s only been three months, maybe try a few more times. My OB always says that if nothing happens of a year of trying then to come in for additional tests. I’m not sure if pot has an impact on sperm mobility, but it wouldn’t hurt to cut back during ovulation week.
