With my first, I waited until after my shower to see what I got there. which was when I  was in my 7th month. Then after that I went and bought everything I didn’t get. 
With this one, I have most of what I need already still from my first, but I am 24 weeks right now and just starting to buy things that I’m noticing I didn’t save from my first. 
I’m also noticing people don’t buy things for you the second time around 🤣🤣🤣

Not having a shower. We waited until we knew the gender and then started buying things. Still not done shopping 😂

If you see a good deal I say get it just dont forget to take it off your registry if you buy it before your shower.

Plan out your big purchases, buybuybaby gives a 20% off coupon every 2 months or so. If you see something you like add it to an online shopping cart and sign up for email subscriptions so they will notify you when there’s a sale going on. Same with maternity clothes, I goto Destination maternity, try on a bunch of things then find them online and wait till a sale goes on, they always have discount days every week so it’s worth it to wait a week or two before purchasing. I bought my crib, dresser, and recliner from pottery barn kids because they had a huge 25% off day (I was around 16w at the time). Shop around after a big holiday as well because everything goes on sale!
I’ve been doing this my whole pregnancy, managed to save a lot of money. People will give you a lot of baby clothes so don’t buy any till your close to due date.
