Has anyone tried the Copper IUD? I’m on the nexplanon implant and this month is my 3rd year so I’m getting it out soon. It’s made my anxiety and depression absolutely sky rocket since the first year I had it. I tried getting off of it but my doctor told me no because I’m 17 and she didn’t think I was responsible enough to try the pill. I’ve heard a lot of people say their doctor told them no to the copper IUD just because they don’t THINK it’s a good choice but not for any specific reason. My doctor is the type to tell me I can’t try the IUD just because she personally doesn’t like it and I’m not sure what to do about it. But besides that, is the copper IUD a smart choice?
