So I’m black girl and almost 21 I’m now in a relationship with a white guy.

Recently we were out for a walk and a Jamaican man jogs by us and says in my ear , “ what are you doing with a white man , sell out”.

My boyfriend didn’t hear so I told him what the guy had said he was shocked and confused as was I.

I’d never experienced hate like that from anyone let alone someone of my own race.

I realise now that this is an issue we will have to deal with going forward... is there any advice you guys could give to help deal with comments like this in the future ?
