Belly after baby... 5 weeks out
Question... so before I got pregnant in 2017 with first baby, I had pretty close to a 6pack. My stomach has always been the last place that I gain weight and I’ve always had a small waist. I still had probably 15-20lbs to lose before I got pregnant again with 2nd in 2018. I was very heavy at the end of 2nd pregnancy...I gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Jan 21st and will be 5 weeks out tomorrow. (He was almost 11lbs, but not rolly Polly, Just tall and dense).
Granted, I was probably 30lbs overweight in this last pregnancy, I still am not sure what’s going on with my belly. It still looks like a pregnancy bump and isn’t flattening out. I can actually flex my abs and feel my muscles, which are pretty firm with just little layer of fat and skin over top. So, what the heck is inside and under the muscle that is still so big that I look 6/7months pregnant? (My uterus should be back to normal size by now.) 😩🤷🏻♀️
(I am breast feeding and drinking tons of water. I am not one of those people who magically gets skinny from breastfeeding.)
