Femara and Clomid

Hey everyone. First time posting to this board. :) I have currently started a rou dof Femara (7.5mg) and Clomid (100mg) to help with ovulation. I've taken this combo before when we tried IUI (twice) with no success. This time, we are not doing IUI. Hopefully just the medication will be enough. Last month, my period was 14 days late. I was afraid I hadn't ovulated because I didnt have any ovulation cramping (which I know doesn't always happen) and there were a lot of stress-related factors which could've caused a missed period. Not sure why it was so super late...

In any case, I'm on day 6 of my cycle and I'm supposed to take the medication on days 5-9, so I started yesterday. I have never had any adverse reactions to either med other than actually having pain during ovulation..which is kind of comforting to me to know that I actually am ovulating. Even though I've been diagnosed with PCOS, I'm going to try an opk this time. I've heard they don't always work for people worh PCOS, but I figured I'd give it a try. I'm also taking over the counter prenatal vitamins and Conception Fertility prenatal vitamins because I figure extra vitamins couldnt hurt. 🤞🏾🤞🏾 Any prayers would be greatly appreciated. I just turned 35 and we have been trying for our first for over a year. 1 miscarriage 2 unsuccessful IUIs. Lots of heartache and tears. I have an appointment on Tuesday with my new doctor (we just moved to another state due to a military PCS) and I'm going to fill her in on all of my troubles and see what she recommends.
