I’m a first time mom and all I want to do is breastfeed my baby. But unfortunately I have small nipples and a lazy little sucker. I have tried the nipple shield and she just cries or fall asleep with it in her mouth. Everyone is telling me to keep it up and she will get it eventually but this shit is so hard. I cry all the time because I feel like such a failure. I am now just trying to pump to keep up my supply and if I don’t have enough I give her formula and all my friends and family keep sending me information on bf but like literally don’t understand that I’m trying everything. I tried for 2 hours the second night she was home to bf and ended up giving her formula. I guess I’m just venting but did anyone else have a lazy sucker and they were able to bf. Also it doesn’t help that I have ginormous boobs and small nipples.
