do you let your baby sleep with a blankie?

i let him at naps because im awake and can see him on the monitor. but idk if i should let him at night. im sure hed be totally fine, but the they of the world love to scare mommys.

We’ve done it since he was born (I know you’re not supposed to). But he hated swaddles and he would sleep longer if he was warm. I’ve only ever done crocheted blankets so I feel like they are less likely to stick to his face. Now he makes a nest of them at bedtime and rubs his face in them with his butt in the air. Lol

Too many horror stories! My older daughter didn’t get a blanket until she was like one and a half! I’ll probably do the same this time.

We have one that is crocheted so it has big holes in it.  She loves to rub it all over her face when she goes to bed.

Yeah we’ve been using a wool blanket for our daughter since 5 months and she loves it.
