Sex after birth?

My 6 week appointment is in 2 days, hubby is very excited for the all clear. I am nervous had a second degree tear, which feels healed but haven’t messed with it. How was sex after? Also worried it’s going to be “loose” down there... what was your experience?

I had quite a few stitches, and I got cleared two weeks ago. The first time was actually totally fine!! I was sooo nervous. I recommend using lots of lube for the first few times, otherwise you should be okay. Everyone is different!

I also tore and have stitches I’m 4 weeks pp had sex at the 3 week mark, it hurt a little at first but then felt great. I second the person who said to use lube the first time it just makes it a little easier. Definitely ease into it. You know your body you’ll know if you can handle it or not.

First time was at 5 weeks pp and it was amazing. We’ve always had a very healthy sex life (going on 10 years and still good) sobwe we’re dying from 39 weeks pregnant until now is a long time for us so we were ready and “we didn’t need lube” 😬 it was great no paid and I had stitches and tears on the side aswell

With my first I had a few stitches At 6 weeks for me it didnt feel the same and I bled after words so I waited until another 2/3weeks after and doing lots of kegels! Then it felt better than ever!! Everone is different that was just my experience
