Anyone still using a swaddle?

Is anyone else still swaddling their baby?

I just transitioned my girl, like last week lol we’ve been using it so she wouldn’t play with her binky. She’s actually done really well

Mine hated it... From birth she would obsess over wiggling her arms free so we didn't bother. 6 months now and she sleeps like a sea star.

Just started to swaddle, we coslept and I’m trying to move her to her pack n play before her crib and the ONLY few nights she’s gone down and stayed in her bed was when she was swaddled. She hates it lol but for some reason will stay in her bed if swaddled. She doesn’t roll. Only like twice earlier this month

We have been trying to transition for a month now. She does ok with one arm out, wakes up twice instead of once with both arms in. We let both arms out and she was up every 2 hours😩. She’s been a great sleeper at night since birth. I joke around about swaddling her till she’s 5

I just transitioned her a couple weeks ago. She had started waking so frequently and no longer seemed comfortable in it. I had to let her cry a little to learn to fall asleep with her limbs free. She now rolls onto her tummy and sleeps sooo much better, it was totally worth it.

We recently transitioned him to the zip a dee zip because one arm out just wasn’t working for us!At least this way I know he could still use his arms to push himself up if he rolled which makes me feel better! After a little bit we will try moving to a regular sleep sack, but for now I’m glad he seems to be doing well with this since we also tried the Merlin magic sleep suit and he was up regularly in that (plus I was worried about him getting too hot!)

Yes! She can’t flip with her arms by her side and I put the boppy pillow around her feet also to make sure she doesn’t flip. I don’t even know how to get her to sleep without it. Some days she won’t even nurse without being swaddled 🙄

I use a sleep sack. I believe once they start to roll over on their own using a swaddle can be dangerous because them they won’t be free to flip themselves back over if they need to.
