Have you left your July ‘18 baby overnight?

Just curious... I have an opportunity to visit with college friends but it’s a three night trip and I’m not sure I want to leave my daughter for such a long time.

No... My son won't take a bottle. I can't really be away from him for more than 3 hours at the moment. 😬

I keep wanting to plan an outing that might need over night but then I feel this rush of anxiety and I cannot

I haven’t but if I have a willing sitter to take all my kids I could go for a nice weekend away! Lol

We haven't yet. We plan to wait until he's a year old.

Yup! When florence hit he was about 10 weeks old, we went to stay with family for two weeks. The weekend we had to come home, due to husbands work, we also had a wedding to attend that was also in a city that was hit HARD by the hurricane. We left our son with my parents for the weekend so we could figure if our home was liveable, it wasn’t, and to attend the wedding. If you trust the people watching baby i don’t see why it would be a problem for them to watch baby for a few days/nights

Not yet, but I’m about to...I’m freaking out, because it’s going to be long...I’m sure both kiddos will be fine, and I’m soooo excited...but also have the nagging mom guilt. I’m sure I’ll get over it as soon as I’m sipping on a cocktail sitting on a beach in Hawaii though!

Not yet. She’s super attached to me at night and while she will take a bottle during the day if she *absolutely* has to, she won’t at night! 
I don’t think either of us are totally ready yet. 😬 Maybe by the summer!

I haven't yet but also haven't had an opportunity to. We will be leaving our LO for two nights with my mom this summer. While I'm actually really excited for the trip, I know I'll probably be a little anxious actually leaving her. But I fully trust my mom and she's been on board for watching her during this trip since before my LO was even born haha.

Yes. One night my husband was sick and he had to go to the ER. I called his mom and she came over at midnight. One other time, it was my husbands best friends 30th bday party with a wine tasting starting at 2pm. By the time it was bath time for my little one, my mother in law insisted I stay and enjoy myself. My husband left after the tasting to go to work. He works in his family owned restaurant that stays open until 3am. It’s a pizzeria in uptown where I live and very lively. He is never home. It was actually the only break I’ve ever gotten. He works so much (seven days a week) that I talked about my daughter the whole time and missed her stressing the entire party. Literally if not for the financial help, I’m a single mom 24/7.
