Headache remedies?

I'm getting the worst headaches every day. I'm taking tylenol extra strength but I'm wondering what everyone else is doing to help with headaches? I dont really want to take medicine every day while I'm pregnant. I know tylenol is safe but I'd like to only take it sparingly. Hot showers seem to help temporarily. Any other ideas?

Try diffusing/occasionally sniffing peppermint essential oil. Always helped me. Or a lot of oil companies have a headache remedy oil blend you can use. The straight peppermint worked better for me. Just make sure it's high quality oil, therapeutic grade and 100%. I prefer Eden's Garden brand, since it's high quality but lower cost than stuff like DoTerra and Young Living. You can get it on their website or from Amazon. Good luck!

My doctor told me to drink something with caffeine. Limit to 1 cup or 200 mg. It’s the only thing that has helped. I am having a cup of tea once a day when I feel one coming on.

My MIL got me a rollerball for headaches that has peppermint essential oil (among many others) that helps take the edge off. The brand is Suja and it's called Halo or something like that since you apply it your hairline. I don't know much about EO safety during pregnancy so I try not to use it excessively. A little caffeine also helps, but nothing takes these hormonal headaches away.
