When was the first time you heard baby's heartbeat?

I have an 8 week appointment in a few days. Most fetal dopplers can hear baby at 9 weeks but the doctor may have better equipment.  At what doctor appointment did you hear the heartbeat? Was it earlier than 9 weeks?

I saw it at 6 weeks and heard it at 10.

I don’t think they try to use fetal Doppler’s until you’re at least 12 weeks.

The doctors normally wouldn’t do it before 12 weeks. You can ask. But they probably will say not until your 12 or more weeks

8 weeks, I didn’t have an appointment before than. Also Doppler’s can pick up a heartbeat as early as 8 weeks but it is still hard to catch, most drs don’t recommend using them until after 12 weeks.
