Does anyone have a nonverbal child that has spectrum austim disorder?

My son is on the spectrum. Considered low functioning. 
Diagnosed slightly before he was 2, he was non verbal.
When the child is diagnosed, they should give you resources...
My son had to start ABA, speech, physical, and occupational therapies
Aba was 30 hours a week 
Speech was weekly
Physical was weekly then to bi weekly once he got on track (same with occupational.)
With several early interventions, my son started talking a decent bit at 3 and half. 
Now he’s 4, and has the vocab of a 2 year old. 
You need orders & to speak with the doctor who diagnosed him for resources. 
If he is not diagnosed and you are worried something is wrong, they will point you in the right direction.

Ask your pediatrician if you have any programs in your area. Where I live (WV) we have a program called Birth to Three, where people will come to your home and help with any concerns you may have free at cost. They can also pay for certain medical visits that pertain to such issue and write referrals. (My brother is participating in this and has been trying to speak so much more since they have been coming!)

I do. He's 2. He's able to say some words but we are working on sign language.
