pill stuck

ok so this is gonna sound dumb, but every night when i take my pill i feel like it gets stuck in my throat. maybe it doesn’t and it’s just air but i cant help but think its not gonna work right if its stuck? ive taken it on time everyday since ive started it. if this is real how effective would it be? and can i prevent it from happening? ofc i drink water when taking it but it still gets stuck
