I know I am not actually in labor. I KNOW that. Any contractions or Braxton Hicks feelings I get is accompanied with baby girls movement. Like Iā€™ll feel a strong tightening in my pelvis but then a kick in my ribs.

I also know Iā€™m not in labor because I havenā€™t lost my mucus plug or had a bloody show and my water hasnā€™t done anything. Have I been extra ā€˜juicyā€™ down there last couple days? Yes, but being almost 38 weeks pregnant, thatā€™s to be expected.

Itā€™s just frustrating because on the one hand you have people telling you youā€™ll just ā€˜knowā€™ when youā€™re in labor but thereā€™s also a lot of people I know who said they didnā€™t realize they were in labor until it was time to push!

Iā€™m annoyed because I have nothing to compare it to, and everyoneā€™s experience and pain threshold is different which makes it even harder to try and compare what Iā€™m feeling to anything or anyone.

I really hope that when it is officially time that I will just ā€˜knowā€™ and that Iā€™ll have that aha moment of ā€˜oh wow thatā€™s what they were talking aboutā€™.

Anyhoo, if you stayed, thank you so much! Hope youā€™re enjoying the last couple weeks of pregnancy! Weā€™re in the home stretch!šŸ„°
