Anyone have hives after giving birth ?

I gave birth a week ago and ever since I’ve had hives . I’ve tried aloe Vera, hydrocortisone , anti itch cream , caladryn , and Benadryl. Nothing helps I’m going crazy . I had a c section so i can’t take a oatmeal bath

I got a similar-looking rash about a week after delivery. It lasted for about a week and then got better on its own. It was pretty miserable for a while, though. A cool shower and applying lavender oil gave me a little relief. I’m pretty sure mine was from the antibiotic that they gave me in the hospital. Apparently penicillin and related antibiotics frequently cause rashes.

It looks like it could be the PUPPS rash! I had it when I was pregnant and it was awful! Only things that kind of helped were a soap called grandpas pine tar soap and dandelion root tea. When I asked my doctor they said they could prescribe some steroid cream and if it still didn’t go away then oral steroids so I would ask your doctor and see what they can do. I hope it goes away because it really is the worst thing ever😭

For this on my legs a week post partum. 4 weeks in still have a bit of it in my thigh. Nothing works 😫

I experienced this my 2nd week after giving birth. The more I scratched, the rash spread like wild fire all over my body. Then finally I used essential oils (dōterra) - Lavender/Peppermint with coconut oil. Every time I felt the urge to scratch I applied it to my body. Eventually the hives subsided and am now recovered from a bad rash.

Are you allergic to any meds they gave you? I’d consult a doc to switch meds if so
