20 week ultrasound- last one?

Midwife said 20 week ultrasound is my last one unless something is wrong they need to check for. Does this seem right?

Yes in UK we only get 2 scans at 12 weeks and 20 weeks. My placenta is low lying so I will get another scan at 32 weeks. It’s a long time not to see baby again. I paid for a 3D scam with my first at 29 weeks.

Yep. Unless they have a reason like something is wrong or whatever then you won’t get anymore. You can pay for one somewhere else probably. I had my anatomy scan at 18 weeks and won’t get another but I think I may pay for one later on lol with my son I had it at 19 weeks and no more....it was hard!

We just had our 20 week anatomy scan but since I’m a high risk patient (type 2 diabetic), my MFM OB has scheduled us for ultrasounds every 4 weeks to keep an eye on things. I also have a dermoid cyst of my left ovary so we are also monitoring that up until delivery. Good luck momma! 😊🥰😍
