So 3 months ago I was on a friend's only app, called patook, I was out of a relationship and just wanted to meet new people for friendship (no way was I looking for a relationship or anything like that). I talked to a few people including a guy. We had a lot in common, he told me he was on and off with a long term gf, (pretty sure but can't remember 100% as if was ages ago that he said they'd broken up) and I said I was still heartbroken. We just chatted and completely platonic. He talked very highly of his sort of gf and I found it sweet that he clearly loved her so much. Out of the blue he blocked me tho, it was so random. Nothing weird had been said. I moved in meh didn't give a shit these things happen, I just assumed it was cause he was back with his gf. Anyway cut to last night I get a random follow from a girl on Instagram, she messaged me saying if I knew someone (she gave me his full name). I didn't actually know the guy she was on about until she said she believes we talked on a friend's app and on Snapchat. I then remembered who it was (checked his username on my blocked list and it matched, didn't know his full name at the time we were talking tho). She basically said she had no beef with me but wanted to check if what he told her (that we chatted at one point and only as friends) which I just confirmed. I told her the truth that there was nothing in it, he spoke of his gf (who turned out to be this girl messaging me) often and how he loved her. She thanked me and apologised for reaching out but it was because she's been having trust issues and wanted to double check. I told her I understand completely and don't mind her clarifying, I said even if that's what he was after I wasn't looking for anything more than mates. It was just a very odd moment, 3 months I think after me and this dude spoke and she contacts me. Idk what happened and like I said I don't mind her contacting me, just for a split moment I shit myself thinking fuck have I pissed someone off😂 anyone ever experienced anything like this?
