Getting rid of pacifier
Hello ladies.
My son will be 2 next month and I took him to the dentist today for the first time. The dentist said his teeth are arched in a way due to the pacifier and to go ahead and get him off of it. They recommend by age 2. My son is sooo attached to it, but really only uses it at naptime and bedtime.
He goes to Mother’s Day out during the week and uses the paci to nap there, so I am thinking the week they are out for spring break (March 11) is the week I will take it from him completely. I read a cute idea of taking him to Build-A-Bear and let him put the paci inside the bear before stuffing it.
Anyone here have toddlers with teeth messed up from paci? I wonder once I take it from him if his teeth will start to shape back to normal. It’s not super noticeable but it will get worse if I don’t take the paci soon. Thanks in advance.
