So my boyfriend ended up in the ER from work today. Turns out he has a hernia and needs surgery within the next week. Obviously we can’t have sex till it’s fixed because he’s in so much pain, but he told me he’s going to be terrified to have it again even after it’s fixed because it could open again. Any thoughts on what I can do to help him, and make him comfortable while he eases back into things after surgery? Anyone else have this happen to their man and have any suggestions or info to help calm him down or settle his mind?
