PCOS not ovulating
I’ve had PCOS since I was 15. I am 35 now I’ve done just about every thing as far as BCP, Provera, lupron, Surgery to remove cysts, metformin.. the list goes on you name it! Anyhow I never had gotten pregnant until last year and have tried without going to too many extremes however I was shocked last year when I had an ectopic-never expected to get pregnant without intervention. but it gave hope that maybe I would be ovulating so the docs had us wait it out and start really tracking things. Long story short now we are officially going through all the bizzillions of actual fertility tests. HSG clear(after abdominal ectopic). Fortunately I’ve been having an AF around 35-40ish days. So I did progesterone labs among 8 months of tracking OPKs and with diligent timing of BDing no success.... so progesterone was O!!! Not ovulating not even close! Which I expected kinda-So now I get to see my doc again for next steps!! Anyhow it just feels like so many doctors appointments and it makes me worried the longer we wait the worse it’s going to be as I’m already 35 and now considered somewhat high risk given my ectopic! I just feel super frustrated. My SO would rather me go straight to IVF but I don’t want to go that route yet unless it’s the only option. Anyhow any advice??? What have you ladies been through and any success? I almost feel like a hypochondriac especially after my ectopic when they made me have all these labs and appointments! I mean it’s necessary but appt after appt is just frustrating to me I wish it were easier! Sorry for my rant.. I just feel frustrated and annoyed how my body just doesn’t want to cooperate! 👎🏻
