When did you all start buying cribs and stuff?

I’m 20+1 and we bought a crib about 3 weeks ago. We bought the changing table and the swing 2 weeks ago. We’re purchasing all the big ticket items first and taking our time, purchasing what we can when we can. I figured once the most expensive items were out of the way, the rest would seem a lot more manageable. That and if we were to go into labor early, we would have everything that we needed so we wouldn’t have to worry about purchasing something expensive at the last minute

I put everything in my registry. I’ll buy whatever is left after. My shower is beginning of June on I’m due mid July.

I did it this weekend while my husband was painting her room. Some stuff like the actin and rocking chair have 6 week order delivery timeframes and I want plenty of time to get it set up and air out and have time to put everything away without having to do much the last few months.

Im 20 weeks and purchasing the crib and changing table next week :) then slowly buying everything so I can have it ready by May,baby girl is due on July 15th but I know babies come early sometimes and I like to be prepared.

I’m 21weeks and 4days and her nursery is set up! Except for items on our registry! 
I’ve ALWAYS been a procrastinator, but this is so fun to me I wanted to hurry up and get a move on the nursery so when I have showers in May and June I can put things away and not be panicked with a HUGE belly!

Gifted a barely used crib before our wedding. Sounds weird, but we’ve only been married a year. Figured someone could use it. Then mom said to take her hand me downs recliner/rocker. Saved us money there. We just went to ikea to get a matching dresser.
