My husband has been suffering from panic and anxiety attacks lately... how or what can I do to help him during an attack? He starts feeling faint and all that ... not sure how to get him out of it.

Just ask him what he needs. If he can’t respond try a gentle hand on his back and assure him that the attach is just temporary and he’s not in any real danger. This is what my husband does for me and it really helps but like the above commenters said everyone is different.

Ask him. It’s different for everybody. We can’t give you any advice bc we are not him.

As for me I can’t stand to be touched or have anybody anywhere near me when I have attacks. Other times I want somebody to sit beside me but not touch me. It’s different with every attack and every person.

Get him a weighted blanket. When he starts having an attack have him sit or lay down and put the blanket over him. This has been a life saver for my brother in law who has PTSD.

Also he needs to see about Lexapro or celexa. They both control the anxiety and panic attacks but Lexapro is specifically for anxiety and panic disorders.
