7 month old shaking head when back of neck is touched??!

Katelyn

So, I’m a nervous wreck.

My son will be 7 months old this Friday. He just got his first tooth about a week and a half ago. Last Thursday, he started to be a little more fussier than usual. He’s not a cryer at all, and still hasn’t cried...just whiney, and fussy. Then on Friday, he started having difficulty drinking his bottle. He’s not significantly drinking less, it is just almost impossible to feed him it. But he is still eating solids fine. Saturday, he slept more than usual, and as well as Sunday too. Today, he has been a little better....however, when I got hone from work today, I was playing with him on the floor, doing tummy time, and having him sit and play. While he was sitting....I like tickled/touched the back of his neck and when I did he would like put his head kinda down and shook it back and fourth like he was saying no, then would be fine. I did it again to see if it was just a freak thing, and no it wasn’t, he did it again. So, I called the on call, and they set me up with an appt for tomorrow morning. I guess I’m just trying to see if anyone would know anything.

Oh, also since like Friday, I have notice that when I lay him down to play on the floor, or on his changing table he would shake his head back and fourth a couple times.
