My fiance hasn't submitted but we just bought a house in September & we were expecting alot of money back according to our financial advisor & ppl from his work also bought houses around same time & they got 15k back but he goes in & they tell him he owes 1600? We are confused he doesnt have dependents to claim neither did his coworkers. They have the same job same pay no children so wtf is going on here? I feel like this tax guy fucked up but what I know🤷‍♀️

Anyone know why a homeowner wouldn't be getting money back?
