Failed 1 hr glucose

Only 5 weeks pregnant and was chosen for random 1 hr glucose test. Even after explaining that I had a large bowl of lucky charms 30 mins before appointment the dr has ordered a 3 hr fasting glucose test. Is it ok to refuse the test? I've never had a failed test before and have never taken the test so early.
